Since it’s Jim’s birthday I decided to repost this picture I drew last year in honor of him. Its probably one of my favorite pieces.

How else do you end Muppet week? I just had to draw a picture of Jim and Kermit relaxing and singing on their banjos. Jim Henson has always been a hero of mine. When I was young, I worshiped everything he created. I could be found painting myself blue with Gonzo bath tub paint, hiding under the covers from the Muppet devils from the Storyteller, or trying to tape a toy to the back of my dog like Sir Didymus.
Henson is one of two creators that I can honestly say made me the geek I am today.
